SPARK: The Wolfpack presents: The Full Moon Party

Match Media’s second SPARK event of the year in conjunction with Integral Ad Science raised over $30,000 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation

That’s right, with Picasso’s Cartel having raised $17,000, we’ve already topped last year’s SPARK fundraising total of $46,907 with two events and six months to go!

SPARK is Match’s charity initiative, raising money for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. For those of you that don’t know what we’re up to this year, 2016 is the year of the SPARK Agency Cup. Match has been divided into 4 teams with each team having a quarter of the year to organise and run our own event. Each team is aligned to one of Match’s four key values: Create (Picassos Cartel), Do it Together (The Wolf Pack), No Fear (Beni and the Jets) and Invest in Knowledge (Smarty Pants).

Round 2: The Wolfpack

With no sign of slowing down, Match kicked off the second SPARK event of the year on Friday 24th June. With the intention of bringing a little sun to the less than warm Sydney winter and tenuous link to our team name, The Wolfpack, we decided to throw a Full Moon Party.

Media owners and Matchling’s alike came together in a collaboration themed fluro party where all tasks are team tasks and all teams are only as strong as their weakest link.

TASK 1: Jump Rope

The first round was a collective team effort at the jump rope. All members of your team (teams had up to 10 people in) had to jump the rope as many times as they can. With some stellar efforts from all teams, we had to narrow this down from 12 teams to 9.

In true Full Moon fashion, teams must all limbo at once presenting us with some spectacular moves all round. As the rope lowers, groups continue to fall by the wayside…

FINAL TASK: The Decider

Val Morgan and Integral Ad Science make it through to the final! The alpha from each pack was nominated to take on the balloon pit and find the winning ticket for the main prize – pride. Well it is a charity event, so there was no holiday to Bali on the cards was there? Congrats to Team VAL MORGAN for coming out on top…AGAIN!
