SPARK: Picasso’s Cartel Creates

Match Media’s corporate social responsibility program, SPARK, has been successfully raising funds for 3 years.

And as our agency grows, so do our fundraising powers. In 2015 SPARK, with the help of our media partners, raised $46,907 for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation; our greatest amount to date. This year we’re looking to top it.

2016 marks the start of the SPARK Agency Cup. We have been divided into 4 teams with each team having a quarter of the year to organise and run our event. Each team is aligned to one of Match’s four key values: Create (Picassos Cartel), Do it Together (The Wolf Pack), No Fear (Beni and the Jets) and Invest in Knowledge (Smarty Pants).

First Up: Picasso’s Cartel

SPARK has returned! Match Media’s corporate social responsibility programme kicked off with a bang last Friday 1st April.

In true SPARK style, Media Owners & Matchlings came together to compete in an art attack themed event, hosted by Match’s first SPARK team for the year, Picasso’s Cartel.

For the first round, teams worked together to produce ‘awkward family’ & ‘dream team’ group photos, with spectacular results – check out #itsamatchthing for some unmissable photos and videos from the day. For their Adams Family photo & Crayola outfits, the Carsales team very deservingly won both Best Dressed and Best Photo.

In the second round each team created SPARK inspired masterpieces, with an honourable mention going to Pedestrian TV’s House of Pop-Culture canvas. In the end however, there could only be one winner of the first Spark Championship Cup for 2016. Congratulations to Val Morgan who took top prize for the day!

In a phenomenal effort, $17,000 was raised for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, Randwick.
